In 2016, Saul proposed to Maya and she began planning their wedding. Maya searched for a beautiful, no-tools-required chuppah to rent, but she wasn't able to find one. That's how Saul decided that he would design and build his own.
In the fall of 2017, Maya & Saul got married underneath a chuppah that was truly special.
After the wedding, a friend asked to borrow the chuppah for another couple to use. Since then, the original chuppah Saul built has been used in several weddings!
This demonstrated a need for others to have use of a chuppah or arch that's easy to put in place. Saul designed a structure that is easy to lift, assemble, and the woodworking is beautiful. Every detail was made with care and intent.
